Event description
Unpacking the Reggio Emilia principle - Environment as the third teacher.
Professional Learning session for Early Childhood Educators.
More than beauty, the environment as the third teacher is an intentional strategy to progress the learning of children.
Join us at Explorers Early Learning Boronia for an enriching professional learning evening with Kerrie O'Neill, Explorers’ Pedagogical Thinker-in-Residence to learn more about how the environment can support children's learning.Â
Kerrie brings a wealth of experience as a Director of Early Learning Centres, a current PhD student at Curtin University, a former Authorised Officer and Early Childhood Trainer and Assessor, a founding member and former Chairperson for the Reggio Emilia Australia Information Exchange, and an Early Childhood Lecturer.
