Unplugged .. Celebrating 2025 with Jazz band .. The Cap Cats

As the year draws to a close, Permaculture Blue Mountains would like to invite you and your family to celebrate 2025 with us. As a special treat for you all, we have hired a vibrant and talented jazz ensemble.

The Cap Cats are bringing their unique sound to the Mid Mountains Neighbourhood Centre for a performance that promises to lift your spirits and get your toes tapping.

We’ve kept ticket prices low to make the event accessible to everyone - it’s all about bringing our community together. Permaculture Blue Mountains Members attend for free.

About The Cap Cats:

With their blend of jazz, blues, and funk, The Cap Cats breathe new life into timeless classics while adding a fresh twist with their original tracks. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or simply love good music, their warm, soulful sound will make you feel right at home.

The Cap Cats are an enthusiastic cohort of young musicians bringing their unique sound and urban American sound of jazz and blues from the streets to our own backyard. The Cap Cats love to play anything anywhere.

Though they describe themselves as a jazz ensemble, the Cats' dynamic sound reaches far beyond your dad's record collection. Expect to hear splashes of blues and funk mixed into the set as the group pushes deeper into the evening.

The ensemble's setlist features a whole set list of our favourite jazz tunes alongside a long list of classics and a sampling of originals. The Cap Cats invite you to come, listen and dance. We hope you enjoy their sound.
