Unspoken Devotion explores the connections between Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms through some of chamber music’s most treasured works.

The programme brings together music shaped by close artistic and personal connections, alongside Bach’s brilliant harpsichord concerto and a new work by New Zealand composer Ben Hoadley. At its centre is Schumann’s Piano Quintet, a cornerstone of the chamber music repertoire.
