UNSW MTS Presents: Next to Normal
Event description
Event Description:
UNSW MTS is proud to present NEXT TO NORMAL.
Experience MTS’ rendition of Next to Normal, a groundbreaking rock musical that offers an unflinching look at the impact of mental illness on a woman and her family. The story follows the Goodmans, a seemingly typical suburban household, as they confront the mother’s struggle with worsening bipolar disorder and the treatments she undergoes to cope. Challenging the very idea of what “normal” means, this powerful production shines a light on love, resilience, and the strength it takes to endure life’s most painful realities.
This Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical has a limited run from 20th to 25th October at Studio One, UNSW. Don’t miss your chance to experience this unforgettable show.
