Gambling in Australia is a public health crisis. The voice of women is often forgotten or unheard.

The Untangle Project is working to build visibility, credibility and impact for women affected by gambling harm.

Our aim is to promote and provide a safe non-judgmental space for women experiencing the negative impacts of gambling harm and for women supporting others who are experiencing this.

We do this through:

Awareness - increasing visibility of the gendered impacts of gambling and amplifying women's lived experiences.
Advocacy - ensuring women's lived experience informs gambling policy, research and reform.
Action - create practical pathways for support, connection and change - creating opportunities for women to influence change safely.
