Join us for a unique and eco-friendly shopping experience at the September Upcycled Clothing Market & Swap!

Held on the fourth Saturday of every second month, this vibrant event celebrates sustainable fashion, where you will find guality, used or one-of-a-kind upcycled garments, shoes, bags, accessories, and more. There's plenty to do on the day with a range of activities for the whole family.

Book a Stall:
Do you have quality pre-loved clothing and accessories that deserve a second chance? Book a stall at our market and sell your gently used items to a community that values sustainable fashion. This is a great opportunity to declutter your wardrobe, share your unique finds, and connect with others who appreciate high-quality, second-hand fashion. Join us in making sustainable choices stylish and accessible!
Book your stall and we will collect your $10 on the day (cash or card) 100% of the proceeds to MakerSpace as a fundraiser.

Sustainables Sewers Meet Up:
9:00am - 11:00am
Connect with fellow upcycling enthusiasts, share ideas, and inspire one another to unleash creativity. Bring along something you are working on or work on a collaborative piece with the group.
Whether you're a seasoned sewing pro or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome! Join us as we stitch together a more sustainable future, one thread at a time.

Swap Table:
9:30am (participants) 10.00am (general public)
Bring along up to 5 of your gently used clothing items and trade them at our Swap Table. This is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your wardrobe without spending a cent. It’s all about reducing waste and promoting a circular economy.

Repair Café:
11.00am – 1:00pm
Got a favourite piece that’s seen better days? Visit our Repair Café, where skilled volunteers will help you with basic repairs and alterations. Whether it’s a missing button, a torn seam, or a new hem, our team is here to assist.

Giant Games:
Keep the kids happy while you browse with tons of games like Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Bubbles fun and more, or give them a play at Wilderness before you go!

This market is perfect for eco-conscious shoppers, fashion enthusiasts, and anyone interested in sustainable living. Come along to support the community, discover new styles, and contribute to a greener planet. Remember, every small step towards sustainability counts!

Details:
Set up for stallholders begins at 8.00am. Be prepared to greet the eager crowd when the market officially opens at 10 am.

Clothes Swap
In the spirit of sustainable fashion, our FREE Clothes Swap Table will be open for participants at 9.30 am. Participating is easy and FREE.
Bring up to 5 pieces of good quality clothing to for the clothes swap table and receive a paddle pop stick per item donated .
This allows you first pick of the table using your paddle pop sticks.
At 10.00am the clothes swap table will be open to the general public (those who didn’t donate to the swap). Items are available to purchase for a donation to MakerSpace (pay what you can) to help them support future sustainability programs.
So, bring your good quality used clothing items and exchange them for something fresh and exciting, all while reducing your carbon footprint and promoting a circular economy.
