Upcycled Denim Cellphone Purse Making Workshop
Event description
Take your worn out and unwanted jeans and turn them into a fun and functional cellphone purse, while learning how to use your sewing machine. Upcycling is the practice of taking clothing or other fabric items and turning them into new and functional items. In this class, your teacher will show you how to cut denim, how to layout your design, and use your sewing machine to create your own one of a purse that you can use to carry your cellphone, keys, credit cards, and other small items.Â
Participants must bring their own sewing machine that is in working order and a pair of jean pants or jacket that will be used to make the project.Â
