Upcycled Denim Wine Tote Sewing Machine Workshop

Learn how to make your own stylish and sustainable wine tote in this fun and easy workshop! In this workshop, you will learn how to upcycle old jeans into a beautiful and functional wine tote. You will learn how to cut and sew the fabric, add embellishments, and professionally finish your tote. You will leave with your own beautiful and handmade wine tote.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves to sew, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned sewer. So come join us and have some fun making your own unique and sustainable wine tote!
Participants must bring their own sewing machine that is in working order and a pair of jean pants or jacket that will be used to make the project.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS
This class is available to take In Person at our Montclair NJ Shop, or online Virtually on Zoom. For the Virtual class participants can opt to take the class with a DIY Kit or choose to receive a shopping list.
IN PERSON CLASS
If a participant chooses to take the class In Person, then they are taking the class at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.
VIRTUAL CLASS
If a participant chooses to take the class Virtually, they will receive a Zoom link. Participant will receive a Shopping List with all the materials that they will need to participant in the class. Participants are responsible for sourcing their materials in time for class. Participants are welcome to contact us for recommendations as to where they can source their materials.
APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION
Participants must be at least 18 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.
CLASS PARTICIPATION
This is a Live event. In Person and Virtual Class Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. If an In Person Participant is unable to attend the class in Person they can request to join the class Virtually and we can arrange accommodations. If a Virtual Class participant is unable to log onto a class on the day and time it is scheduled then it is the participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event for accommodations. If a participant is unable to join and needs to reschedule, there is a rescheduling fee that will be billed to the participant. If we as the organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.
