Upcycled Gift Making workshop - Simple Back pack

Make your Christmas more sustainable!

These Upcycle workshops across November and December will provide you with an array of unique handmade upcycled gifts for family and friends! Using reclaimed and recycled fabrics and haberdashery together with your skills, what could be a better present for those special people in your life!

In this workshop, you'll learn how to make an Upcycle Newcastle favourite with all ages, our Drawstring Back Pack (with added lining). We'll be using discarded medium weight fabrics and old jeans.

It's a great workshop for beginner machine sewists, as well as those more experienced.

All materials are included. And you can bring your own machine or use one of ours!

Our Workshops: All our classes and workshops are created using circular economy principles. This means we will be using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery items for our projects. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
