Upgrading your NZAC Provisional Membership to Full Membership

This webinar will provide valuable information and guidance for both new Provisional Members and NZAC Supervisors.

The webinar is hosted by Membership Committee convenor Robyn McGill. We are excited to have so many new 2023 Provisional NZAC members. Nau mai haere mai. Welcome! Congratulations to those  who have recently completed your Counselling qualifications. And a warm welcome to our new Provisional Members from outside of Aotearoa, applying to join our NZAC whānau. 

The deadlines for upgrade application submissions are 1 July and 1 November each year.

This NZAC webinar is to support Provisional Members in their process of becoming full NZAC Members. This webinar covers the requirements for Provisional Members to upgrade their membership. The Puawānanga Kaitiakitanga process will be explained. 

The Membership Committee recommends Provisional Members begin their upgrade process soon after being registered as a Provisional Member. Take the time to complete your application and allow time for reflection in your written process. We have also produced a new journey tool to help you break up the requirements for full membership. Setting up small groups of other new Provisional Members to provide you with peer support can really help in keeping energy and motivation to get your Membership applications completed. 

This webinar is also recommended for NZAC Supervisors to be more fully informed about membership process and changes to the Puawānanga Kaitiakitanga process. NZAC Supervisors will then be updated  to support Provisional Members in their upgrade process to become full NZAC Members.
