Take your ears underwater to tune into the marine life of Whakaraupō/Lyttelton Harbour played through underwater speakers in Norman Kirk Pool in Lyttelton.

Upokohue (Hector’s dolphins) communicating, seaweed photosynthesising, and the sounds of boats and port maintenance have been composed by multisensory artist Dr Jo Burzynska into an underwater symphony.

What to bring: your togs. A mask and snorkel (optional) otherwise your ears will do the trick.

Please arrive at 6:15pm to be ready for the guided experience beginning at 6:30pm.

This event will go ahead rain or shine.

Cost: $5 general admission. Children must be aged 5 and up (1 child free per participating adult).
