Description

Harvesting cranberries is fascinating to watch and fun to photograph. Add on the spectacular Nobska Lighthouse and finish it up with sunset over The Knob, an ideal Cape Cod experience

An afternoon workshop covering David’s three favorite locations in Falmouth. Starting at 1 PM, we will visit 1-2 of the small but accessible cranberry bogs. We will then move to Nobska Lighthouse and work on shooting from close up and long distance. We will end the workshop where we start at Quissett Harbor for a 10 minute walk to The Knob: a premier sunset location on the Cape.

Refund policy

Once workshops are paid in full, no refunds or credits will be granted. You may self-refund directly within your booking confirmation for 50% of the total if the workshop is 30 or more days away. Within 30 days, you will not be granted a refund of any kind. This is to ensure fairness to our instructors who work hard developing their programs, and to other students. Booking fees are never refundable (we don't have control over them. They are donated to charities by the booking platform) Workshop fees are not valid toward any photo tour, private experience, or otherwise, and vice versa. Workshops are conducted rain or shine, unless a determination has been made in an emergency or other event rendering the workshop unsafe or impossible. In this case, registrations are provided full refunds.

Dave has been practicing digital environmental landscape photography for the last ten years, and film for many more. From the mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont to the seacoast locations of Maine and Massachusetts, he looks for iconic images during the best seasons with incredible light. He strives for each photograph to communicate not only what is seen, but also how the location makes you feel.

Dave is a member of the Boston Camera Club where he was the 2018 Photographer of the Year. He has won numerous awards including the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Image of the Year. His images have been featured in Cape Cod Magazine 20th Anniversary Edition, the 2018 Guide to Boston, St. Augustine Social Magazine and Visit Central Mass Guide. Dave is also a blog contributor for Datacolor Photography Calibration Company.
