Meet the people who grow your food. As part of AgDay, the Upper Plenty Merri Catchments Landcare Group invites you to a day celebrating local food and the farmers behind it,

Browse stalls from local producers selling fresh fruit and vegetables, honey, lamb, beef, pork and heritage poultry, alongside other regional food makers. Stay for freshly cooked food, homemade cakes, tea and coffee, and go in the running to win a hamper of local produce.

Throughout the day, guest speakers will share what it really takes to produce food, why buying local matters, and how sustainable and regenerative farming is changing the land around us. You'll also hear about local food networks and practical pathways if you've ever thought about becoming a producer yourself.

Whether you're a keen cook, a curious family, a small landholder or a would-be farmer, come and meet the land and the people who work it. All welcome.
