The Upper Room

Young adults, you don't want to miss the first Upper Room of 2025! This event is an awesome opportunity to grab a drink, chat to other young adults, and dive into some relevant topics that don’t usually feature in your Sunday mass homily! And did we mention free bar snacks? 

We are excited to be joined by Fr Frank Bird as our guest speaker! Fr Frank will be speaking about 'Seeking a Life Worth Living'.
Fr Frank is a Marist Priest who worked for 14 years in the Auckland Diocese before serving 10 years at the Marist Asia Foundation on the Thailand Myanmar Border supporting Burmese migrant families with health and education programs. He’s recently returned to Auckland in 2024 after some study of St John of the Cross in Rome, and is now involved with Young Adult and Family Ministry, training to be a Spiritual Director, and is Marist Vocations Director. Frank is getting back into the joy of trail running again, and loves sharing the scriptures each week on livingtheword.org.nz and Fridays with Fr Frank.
