"Urban Syntropy: Flowing Gardens & Living Soils"
Event description
Syntropic Flow: Soil, Fairy Trails & Fireside Tales
Sunday, 12 October 2025 — Jetty Farm, Hindmarsh Valley, SA
Capacity: 50. Book early!
Join us at Jetty Farm, near Port Elliot, for a 4-hour Nature Festival event on syntropic gardening and soil health. Explore our small-acre farm on a guided walk, learning about water retention and animal-based soil regeneration (sheep, pigs, chooks). We’ll translate those ideas into gardening and syntropic techniques. Gerry Gillespie joins via Zoom for a compost and worm farm demo with Q&A.
Kids (5–14) enjoy a supervised fairy-door trail and pot-planting activity. Tea/coffee on arrival, end with a fireside chat, homemade soup and bread. Seedlings and product for sale (card/cash).
