USCMA CITP - Strengths Crafting (Virtual)
Description
Strengths Crafting: From Insights to Action in Coaching Practice
Whilst research shows that both job crafting and strengths-based approaches to work can enhance wellbeing, engagement, and performance, interventions rarely combine these two powerful methods, and practical applications are lacking.
This workshop introduces "strengths crafting", a novel method integrating strengths profiling with job crafting. Strengths crafting provides the bridge from insight to action by enabling small, intentional adjustments to how strengths are expressed across task, relationship, wellbeing, purpose, and skill domains.
The workshop will bring together insights around a person’s strengths (the “what”) with job crafting techniques (the “how”), to help clients make small changes to how they act and think about their work.
Through the workshop attendees will have the chance to explore each part of the model through interactive activities. There will be the opportunity to consider our own strengths and roles, as well as ways to help clients meaningfully craft their jobs and their lives around their strengths.
