$20 Boss Term 3 Kick-Off Event
Event description
Are you delivering the $20 Boss program in Term 3 2022? Then come and join Young Change Agents kick-off call to get to know other teachers who are also delivering the program with their students at the same time.
We’ll begin the session by sharing some of the new updates to $20 Boss for this year, share tips on delivering the program for Term 3, and provide information on where to go if you need extra support during the term.
By joining this virtual event you’ll also have the opportunity to get paired up with another teacher running $20 Boss so you have someone to share ideas and insights with throughout the term! For those who'd like to take part, we suggest meeting up at least once a fortnight for a quick 30 min check-in.
If you can’t make the event but still want to be matched with someone, please fill out the form here and we’ll connect you with your teacher partner after the event.
To get started please sign up below and reach out to cat@youngchangeagents.com if you have any questions! We look forward to seeing you there.
Important Note: Please make sure to sign up using your school email address as this event is only for educators in Australia who are delivering the $20 Boss program.
About $20 Boss
$20 Boss is the largest entrepreneurship program in Australia and is powered by Young Change Agents to support young people to solve a real problem through social entrepreneurship and help them better understand their relationship with money. How it works is that students are given a $20 loan by their school to invest in their social enterprise ideas. The loan is then paid back at the completion of the program with a $1 legacy fee and any profits made can be donated to charity or put towards a future program. For schools within low socio-economic areas, Young Change Agents has a small fund where schools can apply to receive funding to deliver the program which you can apply for here.
Teachers can take part by signing up to receive the free toolkits and resources to deliver the program here and learn more about the different Toolkits and suggested Lesson Plans here.

Introducing Our Teacher Champions
To help get an idea of what it is like to run a $20 Boss program, we have invited some previous $20 Boss teachers to speak about how they incorporated the program into their curriculums and guided their students through it.
