    A two-hour introductory workshop giving you the confidence and practical skills to use ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) tools in your day-to-day mahi.

    Facilitated by Mosaic Partners, the workshop will offer an engaging, interactive and practical approach without being overly technical – it’s suitable for everyone from those who have never heard of ChatGPT through to those who use it regularly!  With interactive activities and scenarios tailored for our members and relevant to the social service sector, the content will outline areas specific to your mahi and roles that would be most useful to learn about.

    Participants will:

    • Discuss ChatGPT safety/ethical best practices and security tips
    • Learn to interact with ChatGPT and other Al tools, including learning to automate tasks such as:
      • Summarising long conversations or documents and report writing
      • Drafting (or responding to) applications/proposals
      • Analysing or consolidating data
      • Various HR tasks: writing job listings/descriptions, interview questions, onboarding planning
    • Discover a framework for powerful prompting - saving hours in the week
    • Be introduced to new Al technologies

    The two-hour workshop will cover:

    • 30 min - What it is, how it works, key terms and limitations
    • 30 min - Effective prompting
    • 30 min - Hands-on activities and scenarios
    • 30 min - More advanced topics: ChatGPT Plus and other AI tools


    Facilitators:

    This workshop is facilitated by Jeremy Suisted and Jamie Moore from AI training specialists Mosaic Partners.

    Jeremy is a lecturer at the University of Waikato Management School and runs Creativate; a leading New Zealand design-thinking and innovation consultancy.

    Jamie has founded and sold two successful technology businesses and has a particular passion for seeing technology offer real-world business benefits.

    Between them they have advised hundreds of kiwi organisations throughout New Zealand on strategy, innovation and technology.
