Using Participatory Action Research for Climate Justice

This free and open to the public workshop is hosted by the University of Melbourne's flagship environmental leadership program, the Wattle Fellowship, in collaboration with Wattle Alum and PhD Candidate Bronte Alston.

Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR) is an established research methodology for community-led research involving iterative cycles of action and reflection. This workshop will explore the emancipatory potential of FPAR for Climate Justice research and practice, drawing from Bronte’s PhD research in regional Western Australia. Her doctoral research focuses on enabling the climate-just transformation of community service organisations in Western Australia.
