Underground Samoan Orator is a book where the reader will be taken on a journey to Long Beach, California and Samoa through the Usolosopher’s perspective. The vulnerability of this big man’s poetry will have you in deep thoughts, in awe, and with tears of joy and pain.

Molimau has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and minor in Africana Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills. His poetry influences are Maya Angelou, Edgar Allen Poe, and Langston Hughes. He has also been a part of FLOW (For the Love Of Writing) poetry club at Dominguez Hills with Astrid, Brianniful, Set the Versifier, and Jian J. He has collaborated with Simi B for a suicide prevention workshop called A Write To Life. One of his goals was to become a published author and now he is with World Stage Press. Underground Samoan Orator is his fourth book as his three previous books were self-published. Molimau is a veteran and fixture in the poetry community who is always supportive of poets with his genuine divine love, free spirit, and gentle soul.
Praise for Underground Samoan Orator:
"Molimau is the real deal. His poetry is emotional, deep, and authentic. He takes the reader on a poetic journey into his shadow and then lights it up. You walk away feeling like you know exactly who Molimau is and what it might be like to walk in his shoes."
--Ann Wellman, Founder/Creator of Long Beach Community Theater
"Fatu's poetry is full of both healing and trauma. It takes the reader on a journey filled with experiences and culture. This book of poetry paints a picture of the beauty of pain and struggle, and how resilience is born after you rise. Fatu's vulnerability is a pilar of strength for this world because he has the courage to stand in his truth and through his verse show others that healing is possible."
--Erica Castro, Owner of Daxson Publishing
"Molimau’s poetry breaks through the containments of societal and familial circumstances, racial stereotypes and decrepit institutions to reveal the soulful artist within. His writing cracks the shell to reveal the winged life. It summons new songs from an old instrument. It shatters pavements like a plant that will not be denied the light of the sun. It sets us free."
--Mike Bonifer, Author of White Men My Age and editor of Shooting Stars at Sky
"Underground Samoan Orator is a gift to a world not always receptive to a sometimes-sensitive side of masculinity. Usolosopher taps into that inner child before society stamps you with a stereotypical label. The contents are not just prose; “Our poems are psalms, too” but a journey through a poet’s unguarded soul."
--Tommy Domino, author of Switches, Hot Wheel Tracks & Extension Cords
