USU International Festival: Learn to Sign
Event description
USU International Festival: Learn to Sign
Learn to sign with The Auslan Company!
Come along to this special introductory session to learn more about Deaf culture and the Deaf community, and how to sign names, greetings and countries. Whether you have always wanted to start learning sign language, want to continue practising, or have never thought about it until now, we welcome you to participate in this fun and insightful session.
The Auslan Company is run by a team of passionate and committed Auslan teachers, aiming to deliver Auslan in a fun and informative way that will give you the foundation skills to communicate with any Deaf person in a social or workplace setting.
Since 2004, The Auslan Company has provided Auslan in-person training to universities, workplaces, primary schools, childcare centres and the community. Additionally we connect families with deaf children with NDIS funding to Auslan tutors Australia wide so they can learn to communicate in their child's first language, Auslan.
