Workshop Details 

Reiki is an ancient Japanese spiritual practice and healing art. This workshop introduces participants to the first of three levels within Usui Reiki Ryoho - the Usui method of spiritual energy healing. The focus of Reiki 1 is to connect us to this universal energy via four sacred initiation rituals performed by a Reiki Master. When connected to Reiki we can use it to restore a balance to the flow of energy in our bodies, thus promoting healing. Reiki 1 is primarily for personal practice or use with family and friends.   

The workshop is conducted in person over 4 x 3-hour blocks. The content has been designed to meet the requirements of those who may decide to join a professional Reiki organisation in the future and seek accreditation as professional Reiki practitioners and conduct sessions on members of the public for a fee. Most Reiki associations require the completion of Reiki 2, the foundations for which are laid in this workshop.
