Join Flowing Mountain Insight Meditation for a nourishing day of practice in the company of nature and community.

After two beautiful days of practice beneath the figs, we’re delighted to gather again for another day of meditation, nature, community and coming home to what matters.

This time, we’re honoured to welcome guest teacher Bobbi Allan, who will guide us through a Truth Mandala, a powerful and deeply nourishing process from The Work That Reconnects, developed by Joanna Macy.

The Truth Mandala offers a simple, respectful space to acknowledge what is moving through us in response to the world and our lives. Grief, fear, anger, love, hope, care, joy, all are welcome.

Rather than needing to fix, explain or make sense of our experience, we are invited to feel, witness and honour what is here. Through the support of ritual, community and deep listening, the process can help us reconnect with the truth of our experience and with the larger web of life we belong to.

Alongside the Truth Mandala, the day will include periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation, movement meditation, nature connection, and Dhamma reflection.

Held largely in silence, the day offers a chance to step out of the noise and busyness of everyday life and allow body, heart and mind to settle.

Together, we’ll explore what becomes possible when we slow down enough to listen: to the body, to the natural world, to one another, and to the quiet wisdom that can emerge when we stop rushing towards an answer.

This is a day for resting, feeling, witnessing, reconnecting and remembering that we are not alone.

Places are limited to 40 people so we can keep the day intimate and spacious. If you book a place and later find you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone on the waitlist.

Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, you are warmly welcome.

Please register as there are limited places available. The course fee covers hall hire and admin costs only.

Additional Cost 'Dana' - In keeping with a 2,500 year old tradition no fee has been charged for the teachings. At the end of the course, you are invited to give a donation (dana) to express your appreciation and to support the teachers to continue their work.

Warm, layered clothing you can move freely in (We’ll be on timber, concrete and possibly grass)

Location: The Figs, Brunswick Heads Heights. Surrounded by nature, vistas of mountains and the sea.

Parking: Drive down the long driveway and park inside the fenced paddock on the left. Walk through the gate, cross the driveway towards the orange flag, and follow the gravel path down to the pavilion.
