Live online from 9.30am to 12.00 noon (Adelaide time), plus some homework between weekly sessions.
ConnectEd's free Utilities Literacy Training for Community Workers will teach you about household electricity, gas and water in South Australia:
- Reading and understanding meters and bills
- How to choose an energy retailer and get a good deal
- Using energy and water efficiently at home
- Concessions, complaints, disputes and hardship
- New technologies and tariff reform.
Everyone's welcome! We assume that you work, volunteer or study in the community sector and support financially vulnerable people.
You'll find out how to help them, but you'll probably also learn plenty you can use in your own home.
