Over 5 weekly online sessions, this workshop series teaches ways to better manage electricity, gas and water bills when money is tight.
Join ConnectEd online for this series of five workshops on Tuesday afternoons: 31 May, 7, 14, 21 and 28 June 2022
Live online from 1:00pm to 3:30pm (Adelaide time), plus some homework between weekly sessions.
ConnectEd's free Utilities Literacy Training for Community Workers will teach you about household electricity, gas and water in South Australia:
- Reading and understanding meters and bills
- How to choose an energy retailer and get a good deal
- Using energy and water efficiently at home
- Concessions, complaints, disputes and hardship
- New technologies and tariff reform.
Everyone's welcome! We assume that you work in the community sector, supporting financially vulnerable people. You'll find out how to help them, but you'll probably also learn plenty you can use in your own home.
