9:15 am Pole Materials for overhead lines- 15 minute presentations from three utilities on why they use the materials (Essential- fibreglass, Pine, and Hardwoods-Energy QLD)
10:00 am Performance of wood poles (a discussion about issues with wood poles)

Overview- UQ NDE test – Michael Powell, Bioteca
A series of 10 minute talks on devices-tentatively: Thor, Polux, Resitool, Modshock, Woodscan, Vonaq, Portascan, Deuar with field demo on Day 2
