Event description

UTS Tech Festival is back in 2023, bigger and better!

Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, Tech Festival brings current and prospective UTS students, academics and industry together to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation! You won't want to miss this two-week festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops and seminars!

AI Hackathon

Join us for an exciting hackathon that brings together data scientists and AI enthusiasts to solve equipment maintenance challenges in environmental labs. Using real-world lab data, participants will develop innovative AI tools that can predict equipment failures to reduce maintenance costs and waste.

The event offers a unique opportunity to work on a real-world problem, network with industry professionals, and showcase your skills.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning solutions based on their accuracy, effectiveness, and scalability, and will have the potential to revolutionise the way environmental labs approach equipment maintenance.

Register your attendance by Friday 16 June 2023.
