United Way Advocacy Hour
Description
United Way of Greater Toledo is partnering with Williams Nonprofit Consulting to host a monthly Advocacy Hour.
Advocacy Hour is a practical, approachable space to stay informed and build confidence around public policy and advocacy. Every month, we’ll break down what’s happening at the Statehouse and in Washington, D.C., explain how those decisions may impact local nonprofits and government programs and services, and share practical strategies for engaging effectively with policymakers.
Whether you’re brand new to advocacy or a seasoned advocate, this series is designed to meet you where you are.

Who should attend?
Anyone who wants to understand how decisions get made and how to influence them. No prior advocacy experience required. Grab your lunch and join the conversation from the comfort of your office. This is your opportunity to better understand how government works, what’s coming next, and how your organization can stay informed, engaged, and prepared.
Please note: sessions will not be recorded. We want every attendee to feel comfortable speaking freely and openly.
