UWA School of Design: Professional Development Evening
Event description
Join us for an evening focused on enhancing teaching skills, expanding knowledge and exploring new creative approaches. We will provide the opportunity for experiential learning workshops to investigate creative strategies, explore art-making techniques, and develop innovative teaching methods.
Attendees will also learn about the impact of design futures in the built environment and how teaching design disciplines can contribute to dynamic and resilient environments.
Schedule:
4.15pm: Arrival and Sign In
4.30pm: Attend one of the following 2-hour Professional Development Sessions:
Session 01 – Hand drawn monotype printmaking with recycled materials with Andy Quilty (max 15 attendees)
OR
Session 02 – Animation Workshop with Vladimir Todorovic (max 15 attendees)
6.30pm: Break and Networking over nibbles and drinks
7.00pm: 'Designing Nature: Futures in Landscape Architecture' talk with Daniel Jan Martin
8.00pm: Closing Drinks and Nibbles
