VAESA Annual Conference 2021: Revitalise, Refresh and Connect
Event description
VAESA invites all Visual Arts and Design teachers to revitalise, refresh and connect at the 2021 Conference this August.
In our exciting new format, the conference offers something for everyone, including artist talks, practical workshops with both artists and teachers, strategies for responding to changing teaching environments and engaging with new and developing curricula.
The two day conference takes place on two Saturdays a fortnight apart in August at Adelaide Central School of Art (ACSA) and the Arkaba Hotel.
Participants can choose to come to one or both days, depending on preferences. When choosing workshop sessions at both venues, please allow up to 10 minutes to walk from ACSA to the Arkaba Hotel, or a 2 minute drive.
AGM & post-conference dinner
The VAESA AGM will be held at the end of the day on the 28th of August, and all members attending will receive a complementary drink. To learn more about the VAESA committee and the positions available please click here, and to nominate for a position please click here.
This year we are having a conference dinner including a three course meal, fun activities and door prizes to celebrate the end of the conference, the new and outgoing committee members, and all the hard work that teachers have done over the past two years.
