Valentines Day Cookie Decorating Workshop

Learn how to make delightful Valentines Cookies. In this class you will learn piping basics so you can make unique designs on valentine sugar cookies. You'll also have a variety of sprinkles to work with, so you can add fun textures and details to your cookies. Your instructor will walk you through how to create various designs using piping frosting and sprinkles. This is a fun class for individuals, couples and families to have a fun afternoon out.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This class is available to take In Person at our Montclair NJ Shop, or online Virtually on Zoom. For the Virtual class participants can opt to take the class with a DIY Kit or choose to receive a shopping list.

IN PERSON CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class In Person, then they are taking the class at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. For In Person Classes, materials will be provided at the shop. In Person recipients will receive 3 large cookies to decorate. Allergy friendly cookies are available upon request. The Ingredients will be allergy friendly but are still made in a kitchen that uses wheat, soy, eggs, milk and other allergens. If you or a member of your group has severe allergies please let us know prior to class so we can make accommodations.

VIRTUAL CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class Virtually, they will receive a Zoom link. For Virtual Classes a participant can choose to receive a DIY Kit or a Shopping List.

To receive your DIY Kit in a timely manner, register at least a week or earlier in advance to reserve your materials for shipping or local curbside pick up. Please provide your shipping address when registering.

DIY Kit includes dry sugar cookie mix, a cookie cutter, frosting, piping frosting, piping bags, piping tips, and a variety of sprinkles. We offer allergy friendly kits for those who request them. The Ingredients will be allergy friendly but are still made in a kitchen that uses wheat, soy, eggs, milk and other allergens. If you or others in your household have severe allergies we recommend the shopping list option. 

Participants will need wet ingredients, utensils, and oven for baking cookies; a plate, wax paper, and small bowls for sprinkles, and spoons.

Participants who register for a Virtual class with a Shopping List will be emailed a list of materials, utensils, appliances, and other items needed to participate in the workshop. Participants are responsible for sourcing their materials in time for class. Participants are welcome to contact us for recommendations as to where they can source their materials.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION

Participants must be at least 7 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

CLASS PARTICIPATION

This is a Live event. In Person and Virtual Class Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. If an In Person Participant is unable to attend the class in Person they can request to join the class Virtually and we can arrange accommodations. If a Virtual Class participant is unable to log onto a class on the day and time it is scheduled then it is the participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event for accommodations. If a participant is unable to join and needs to reschedule, there is a rescheduling fee that will be billed to the participant. If we as the organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.

INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION

If you live outside of the United States there is an additional fee to ship DIY kits. Participants are responsible for any duty fees, customs fees, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits. If a participant chooses to get a DIY Kit it is the participant’s responsibility to make sure their country can receive packages from the US.
