Valhalla Valley = "Great Hall Valley" - To be at home in nature.

A Winter Solstice gathering of reconnection.

"Bringing back the light as the days get longer." - Friday 21 June 06:50 AM the darkest part of the year abdicates.

The giver of light and life begins to return.

"Connecting modern people to our Instinct to reveal our authenticity and deeper purposes."

Through workshops and rituals;

Skills, Tools, Technology, Community, Games, Feasts and Fires and from Sunset: devoted to conscious celebration.

Providing space to answer the modern issues of:

Isolation - With community based on betterment.

Over Digitisation - Retaining the skills of crafting with quality what we need with our own hands. 

Life satisfaction - Honouring life, Respecting death with ancient Norse Rituals and Traditions.   

The dream is to have a yearly event where we do 3 things:

- Learn practical skills.
(I'll be offering Breathwork, Ice Baths, (Possibly a Suna), Archery, Axe Throwing, Celestial navigation, Battle formations, Sword skills, pig on the spit, Axe/ Knife throwing, Shield making, Costume creation for the "Asgard Ride, Tug of War, Treasue Hunt, Asgards ride and "Mothers night"). Other worskhops will be available depending on facilitators.

- Share our personal heaven now.
(By offering our service to our community that makes us happy to give, there will the a blackboard on site if you have a spontaneous offering)

- Conscious celebration.
Whether this is appreciation of our bodies responses to Breath, Ice baths and Saunas that increase ones capacity and longevity for good feelings and awareness. Or dancing like a freak around a fire, or quietly appreciating people getting in touch with their deeper selves with a nice warm Mead, or attending the wholsome tantra workshop.

The fact we will all be deep in the Viking theme means we have the opportunity to step into a new character with a new way of being, utilizing ancient traditions and tried and true community practices.

- Logistics:

There will be the Yacht Social Club DJ decks and several large speakers and a Sub should anyone feel like creating a vibe at any time. I'll set them up under our 10m x 14m Pavilion.

Please bring everything you need, self sufficiency to be happy in nature is what this is all about.

Kid Friendly - Alcoholic mead will be on offer so make sure your kid doesn't take a bath in it. 

DOGS - National Parks are currently conducting their yearly 1080 baiting program for the control of wild dogs. Baits will be present in the national park that surrounds the property. If you are planning on bringing your pup - DO NOT LET IT ROAM. Your dog MUST stay with you at all times, or even better, play it safe and find alernative arrangements.

FEAST NIGHT -Saturday - Bring something to share for the feasting table (by the small cooking fire) on Sunday night. Think heart warming, soul nourishing foods to help keep us toasty!

CAMPING -

IN WINTER - it's COLD here in the valley, If you are planning on sleeping in a tent bring A LOT of warm layers and more blankets than you think you need. Beanies and warm socks are a must, ski clothes are great. if you have them. Ugg boots don't last long here as everything gets wet as soon as the sun goes down, so sturdy leather boots or gumboots are best.
