Values

“Values are the elements in your life that are most important to you and who you want to be in life and work.” – Anna Doecke

All of us are in some kind of arena in our lives. Whether it’s the arena of work, business, parenting, relationships, marriage, friendships, neighbourhood, church, community, we all have areas where we need to show up.

The problem is that whenever we go into the arena, there are no guarantees that we will succeed, that the conversation will go well, or whatever it is. That’s why I resonate with this quote from Brené Brown. She says:

“There are no guarantees in the arena. We will struggle. We will even fail. There will be darkness. But if we are clear about the values that guide us in our efforts to show up and be seen, we will always be able to find the light. We will know what it means to live brave."- Brené Brown

Brené talks about how values help to light the way for us. When we are clear on what is most important to us and who we want to be, then we have more direction in our lives and we can be confident in the decisions we need to make.

In this workshop we will:

• learn what values are
• discover our own values (time set aside to sit and work on this)
• see how values help to shape our lives and why it’s important to have clarity of values

LOCATION DIRECTIONS: Please park in the front of the buildings. Walk between the buildings through the gardens and the studio is in the back left hand corner of the property, behind the Jane Grech Dance Centre. We will be UPSTAIRS in the meeting room. Please note, there is no lift at this venue.
