VANGUARD GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP is a dynamic new 4-on-4 team grappling competition format, presented by Advance Grappling.

SATURDAY 6 SEPTEMBER 2025 marks the inaugural women’s team tournament, VANGUARD 1, in which we'll crown our first women's champion team, and showcase some exciting exhibition matches.

Featuring decorated women grapplers from across Australia including IBJJF Purple Belt World Champion, Subversion Bantamweight Champion, M16 Open <61kgs Women's Champion and more, VANGUARD GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP's mission is to provide Aussie grappling talent - especially women - more opportunities to compete on home soil.

A must-see for all no-gi jiu-jitsu fans. Don't miss it!

Tickets:

General admission: $20

Advance Grappling members: $10

Please note: Standing room only (or grab a seat on the mats) - first in, first served. No allocated seating.
