VAPS 2025 Conference

The Victorian Association for Philosophy in Schools is proud to host our 2025 conference.

Over two days, local, national, and international experts in Philosophy in Schools and beyond will showcase their work, enabling teachers to gain practical and ready-to-use strategies to implement in their classroom immediately. The event will be held at Monash University Caulfield Campus.

Stay tuned and subscrribed to the VAPS newsletter as we reveal our two keynote presenters at the start of Term 2.

Tickets for this event can be purchased in the following categories

1. Days: One Day or Two Days - Select which days you want to attend and choose accordingly
2. Personal: VAPS Member; Non-Member; Concession; Student - Select your personal circumstances, VAPS memberships are available at

There is an additional ticket item called "Post-conference Friday Dinner." Please add this ticket to you booking if you would like to attend the post-conference dinner. All conference delegates are welcomed and encouraged to attend. The dinner will be local to the conference location (Caulfiled), but the precise venue will be decided upon once the number of people is attending is clearer. Once a restaurant booking is made, these tickets will be limited to the capacity of the restaurant booking (so don't wait too long to book).

If your school or university is paying for your ticket and is unable to pay online, there is an option to generate an invoice (including PO number) via this site.

Alternatively, please email the treasurer with your ticketing information and institution's details and we will provide an invoice. 

e.g.:

"I would like a ticket for a VAPS member Two Days. Please send an invoice for $300 to Example Primary School, at accounts@example.edu.au"

VAPS is able to provide subsidies on a case-by-case basis. We encourage regional/rural teachers, interstate/international students, are those with limited financial means to contact us about subsidised access to the conference.
