!! PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS !!

The VASA team are delighted to invite you to our 2025 Sports Carnival! This year, the carnival will be split into 2 days, one for badminton and volleyball, and a second day dedicated to futsal!

Please keep in mind, this page is for those wanting to purchase tickets for badminton and volleyball on the 3rd August 2025.

Please also note, we welcome students and recent graduates aged 15–25 to register in teams/pairs, depending on the sport.

BADMINTON:

  • add 1 ticket to cart, then provide the names and details required for BOTH players

VOLLEYBALL:

  • if you are a team of 6, add 1 "Volleyball (6 players)" ticket to cart, then provide the names and details required for SIX players

  • if you are a team of 7, add 1 "Volleyball (7 players)" ticket to cart, then provide the names and details required for SEVEN players

🎟 Badminton: $30 per team

Volleyball: $90 per 6 player team, $105 per 7 player team

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All Tickets are sold subject to availability and to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions should be read carefully prior to purchase and any queries relating to them should be raised with Us prior to purchase, as purchase of ticket(s) constitutes agreement of these Terms and Conditions. A valid Ticket must be produced to get into the Event. Please notify Us of any access requirements at the time of booking.

1. CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION AND ATTENDANCE

1.1 The committee of Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan reserves the right to refuse Ticket holder’s admission to the event in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a Ticket is void.

1.2 The committee of Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan also reserves the right to request that ticket holders leave the venue at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example, the committee member may remove a Ticket holder who:

* has behaved in the event in a manner which, in the reasonable opinion of the committee member has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors; or

* uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or

* in the reasonable opinion of the committee member is under the influence of drugs or has consumed an excessive amount of alcohol; or fails, when required, to produce proof of identity or age; or

1.3 You must comply with instructions and directions given by committee members and stewards.

1.4 No refunds will be given to Ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples above.

1.5 No Children under 14 and Adults above 26 will be permitted to attend the event except where prior approval from the committee of Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan has been received.

1.7 By attending an Event, Ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording of themselves as guests of the event, and use of this imagery/video/sound recording for future marketing of Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan.

1.8 Ticket holders shall not bring into the Venue or display or distribute (whether for free or not) at the Event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing material’s except where prior approval from the committee of Victorian Afghan Students Association has been received.

1.9 Possession of a Ticket does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on You to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trade marks, logos, media material and/or intellectual property appearing at the event except prior approval from the committee of Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan has been received.
2.0 The Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property during the sports carnival. Attendees are advised to keep their belongings secure and to report any suspicious activity to event staff immediately. Participation in the event is at your own risk, and the Victorian Afghan Student Association shall not be held liable for any losses or damages incurred.

2.1 By participating in this sports carnival, you acknowledge that you are aware of the inherent risks involved, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, sprains, strains, bruises, and concussions. You understand that these risks may result in injury, including physical harm, and you voluntarily assume all such risks. You agree to release The Victorian Association of Students from Afghanistan from any and all liability for any injury or damage you may sustain as a result of your participation, except for claims arising from the provider's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Inappropriate behaviour and disorderly conduct will NOT be tolerated. Anyone engaging in these behaviours will be promptly removed from the premise.
