Description

In this workshop, young writers will learn how to take aspects of their real life or family history--whatever they'd like to focus on--and use it to create stories inspired from a personal place. We will use fun prompts and diary/epistolary writing to create a deeper connection to the characters and therefore the reader. I'll use examples from some of my books to show the connections to my own personal history and how I used those details to create fictional characters.
