Veggie Gardeners Club gathering October 2026

Come along and join like-minded home gardeners as we visit local gardens to share tips and tricks on how to get your veggies growing better, here in Central Otago.

This informal group is open to all ages, stages and gardening abilities. From first-time growers trying their hand at a few tomatoes against the back wall, to seasoned pros who clean up at the A&P Show Home Industries section, we welcome you all.

Our October gathering will be held on Sunday 25th October at Cherry Tree Farm. We can't wait to hear all the tips and tricks Peter and Sharon Brass have to share from years of growing their own seedlings on a commercial scale. Be fair to say Pete has a passion for growing his own veggies!

Please register so we have an idea of how many green-fingered gardeners to expect!

As these gatherings are held on private property, we ask that you respect the property owners' privacy by staying out of their home and any other "out of bounds" areas.

BYO water and dress for the weather. We encourage you to share seeds, seedlings or produce you have an abundance of. Cherry Tree Farm veggie seedlings will be available to purchase on the day.
