Veggie Gardeners Club - November 2026

Come along and join like-minded home gardeners as we visit local gardens to share tips and tricks on how to get your veggies growing better, here in Central Otago.

This informal group is open to all ages, stages and gardening abilities. From first-time growers trying their hand at a few tomatoes against the back wall, to seasoned pros who clean up at the A&P Show Home Industries section, we welcome you all.

Our November gathering will be held on Sunday 22nd November at Karen Thompson's place. We can't wait to hear all about Karen's infamous indoor tomatoes which she is already harvesting for the season. Karen also has a Swiss Valais sheep stud which are super cute.

Please register so we have an idea of how many green-fingered gardeners to expect! Children are most welcome.

As these gatherings are held on private property, we ask that you respect the property owners' privacy by staying out of their home and any other "out of bounds" areas.

BYO water and dress for the weather. We encourage you to share seeds, seedlings or produce you have an abundance of.

This Club is proudly supported by Weka Garden Shop, 577 Dunstan Road, Alexandra.
