This hands-on session by artist Allison Wyper will walk you through the why (your goals and deepest values), what (how much you need to earn to thrive), and how (options for how to structure your career) of financial management for artists. She’ll touch on the importance of getting paid for your work, declaring your worth, and how to leverage the power of personal relationships.

Breakout #2: From Surviving to Thriving: How to “Sell” Your Nonprofit Arts Organization

Mindset and Money Coach and performing artist Marcy Heim of the Artful Asker will challenge you to take an honest look at and, give you tools to reframe your focus, to move from surviving to thriving as you create a clear destination for others to find joy in their partnerships with you.

03P: Endnote: Creativity Through Movement: Movement Perspectives on African Drum Rhythms

Designed with the CreArtive Freedom Family’s mission to expand the standard boundaries of creativity in art; experience and engage in the unique movement point-of-view of three distinct dance artists to the cultural drum rhythms of one African song. Participants will engage in three dance segments designed to highlight individuality and diversity in relationships into one common experience.
