Create a Simple Business Plan That You Can Actually Follow



Does the term ‘business plan’ scare you? Do you think of a 100-page ‘book’ that you’ll write once and then never look at again? Your business plan should be a ‘living’ document that you update and review on a regular basis. In THIS workshop, we’ll dive into what the basic components of a truly USABLE business plan are.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

• Clarify what your 'ideal' client looks like and where to find them
• Learn why your ideal client should use YOU instead of someone else
• Diversifying your sources of income is important, as is understanding where to place your sales efforts (R.O.I.)
• How a SWOT can help you identify opportunities and create a 'plan B' for the what-ifs 
• How to look at your financial statements and gain a basic understanding of how they can help you manage your business
• We’ll dive into understanding basic profitability ratios and look at a few tips for improving your bottom line
• Walk away with a basic business plan and ‘roadmap’ for your business future that you can continue to build on

The workshop will be focused on learning, discussion, practice and networking with Venus members from around the region!
