Colouring Australia Green - Innovation workshop

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Australia is facing environmental challenges on a level it has never encountered before: floods, droughts and fires have left the landscape devastated. As a country, we need to find a different approach to ecosystem restoration.

Greening Australia’s vision for 2030 is to restore 200,000 ha of habitat, sequester 1 million tonnes of carbon, and establish 500 million native plants, to give our country, our people and our planet a fighting chance. No small task!

So, we asked the question…how might we use technology to colour Australia green agin?

YOU ARE THE SOLUTION!

This is a callout to technologists, entrepreneurs and environmentalists with one goal in common: leaving the planet better than you found it. Register now for this fully digital workshop. Places are limited.

About us

Greening Australia is an environmental enterprise that thinks big to tackle the challenges facing Australia’s unique and diverse landscapes in ways that work for communities, economies and nature.

Greening started conserving and restoring Australia’s landscapes in 1982 and we haven’t stopped since. We work to solve bold and complex environmental problems through conservation on a massive scale, with programs and projects covering millions of hectares of land and protecting hundreds of native species.

We aim to bring life to landscapes and restore balance to the natural environment; from the warm waters of the Great Barrier Reef to the cool island ark of Tasmania.

We create change that benefits people now and in the future.
