In conversation with Verity Borthwick for 'Hollow Air'

Join us on the 12th of September for a very special night where we'll be in conversation with Verity Borthwick on her debut novel Hollow Air.

This haunting novel follows a geologist who struggles to place herself in life. Unmoored and lonely, she finds herself falling deeper and deeper into the mysteries of an old mine site where tragedy struck a century ago.

Borthwick is a local author who's had her work published in Meanjin, The UTS Writers’ Anthology, and Aurealis, and this novel draws on her own experience as an exploration geologist in remote Australia.
