Vertebrate pesticide induction training Yass

Introductory training course for landholders to become accredited to use vertebrate pesticide products to control pest animals delivered by Local Land Services.

Event details:

South East Local Land Services will be offering Vertebrate Pesticide Induction Training (VPIT) at Yass. Upon completion of the training, participants will be accredited to use 1080, Pindone, PAPP and RHDV baits for 5 years.

The course will cover:

• legislation and legal obligations

• baiting techniques

• toxicity

• transport and storage

• reduce non-target exposure.
