Vertical Voice Readers Picnic
Event description
Vertical Voice Readers Picnic
A note from Antony Phillips, editor of Vertical Voice:
Some recurring feedback from readers who I randomly run into is a request to have another ‘connect up’ like the breakfast we held last year at Ima. Some have suggested it could be over coffee or at a local event. As we move into the tail end of summer and acknowledging March is Neighbours month, I thought a late-summer picnic would be a nice opportunity for people to meet up, share kai and gather.
Where:
Old Government House grounds (in front of the building)
Time and date:
Saturday 22 March, 2.00pm – 4.30pm
What to bring
Whatever picnic items you wish, a blanket? a game?
Friendship and kindness.
This isn’t a picnic just for our readers but for our community, so please feel free to invite friends, family and neighbours. Note: if the weather is not very picnic-friendly it will be postponed and another date will be shared in the next edition of this publication.
