Very Short Film Festival Premiere Event

Join us at Spring Bay Mill on Friday 20 May 2022 for a viewing of the shortlisted films and to announce the winners for the Very Short Film Festival. Meet the filmmakers, enjoy canapés and a free welcome drink. 

Premier Screening Event: Friday 20 May 2022, 5.30pm

The Very Short Film Festival asks filmmakers to get creative in a short 2–5 minute film with a reference to the 2022 signature theme 'SPRING' for a chance to win from a range of cash prizes and awards. Presented by Artology, Spring Bay Mill, Guardian Australia and Wide Angle Tasmania.

Categories

1. Junior Category: 21 years of age or under at the time of entry.
2. Open Category: 22 years and over.

Awards & Prizes

• Three (3) prizes awarded in each category.
• Cash prizes from $500 to $5K per category.
• Free travel and accommodation to attend the Premier Event at Spring Bay Mill.
• Mentorship.
