Event description

Our major project for 2025 is the brilliant Vespro della Beata Vergine of 1610 by Claudio Monteverdi. Featuring cornetti, dulcian, archlutes and recorders, this collection of music for the office of Vespers has not been performed here in Wellington for a decade. We will be joined by top musicians from the NZSO and abroad for this sumptuous work

N.B. There will be a pre-concert talk at 7pm.
