VET for secondary students industry group roundtables
Event description
VET for secondary students industry group roundtablesÂ
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) invites you to participate in an industry roundtable to help improve VET for secondary students.
DESE is developing a National VET for Secondary Students Strategy (National Strategy) to address known challenges with VET delivered to secondary students.
Industry and employer input is an important first step to help us develop the National Strategy.Â
The 1.5 hour online roundtables will discuss:
- how VET for secondary students can meet industry needs
- delivery of VET for secondary students
- industry and school collaboration
- National VET for Secondary Students Strategy.
The roundtables are for industry representatives and employers. A feedback form and future activity will be available for RTOs, schools and other stakeholders to help inform the National Strategy.
