Opportunity Knocks: Hosting College and High School Interns

Are you thinking about hosting interns for the Summer of 2024 (or beyond)?  Think this through --  are interns an opportunity for you or a drain for your organization?  Kids may be interested in a traditional internship – checking out career ideas or begin or building a resume, but it’s OK to consider what’s your agenda and your organization’s needs, too.  Prepare now for the most popular time of year to host  interns – summertime!  But these are lessons that can be used for throughout the year.  We will talk about hosting interns:  defining, planning, recruiting, supervising and clarifying what students (whether high school or college-aged) can and cannot do to impact your organization.
