VHS Consultation Event: Prioritising Prevention

In the first of a series of events to explore the four asks in our Manifesto for Health Creation, we invite our members and stakeholders to hear more about the current policy context regarding prevention in health. We'll share some of the latest developments, then invite attendees to share their own insights and experiences.

A shift to more preventative health services is essential for addressing health inequalities and safeguarding the future of Scotland's NHS. The Government, COSLA and the NHS have already made moves to shift to a prevention-centred health system as part of wider reform plans, but considerable efforts are still required to fully embed this approach. The third sector has a vital role at this crucial time, and has much insight and expertise to offer.
